In a surreal match, PSG managed to win against Bayern Munich 5-4 in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. The Parisian team featured Portuguese players Nuno Mendes, Vitinha and João Neves in the starting lineup. The former Benfica player scored one of the nine goals in the game.
With this result, despite the French advantage, the tie remains open for the second leg, which will be played on May 6th in Germany.
The game started at full speed, as expected, with both teams focused on attacking. After a few attacks into the opponent’s area, the first chance came in the 16th minute.
